My best friend just informed me she%26#039;s eloping on saturday. shes%26#039; getting married on my parents boat and..
Flowers
Reply:Your friend is getting married and she expects YOU to make it special for her????? Seems rather odd.
If she knew she was going to do this, she should have made some preparations herself.
Reply:Go to Walmart. Buy yards and yards of tulle. Buy silk flowers. Between the two, you%26#039;ll be able to make it all look lovely!
Reply:Go to wal-mart and purchase some of the silk potted plants and sit them in the area where the ceremony it going to take place. Your are a good friend! Good Luck!
Reply:Go to a craft store and find the wedding section!
You should be able to find LOTS of flowers, fabric, bows that you can attach to the boat/dock somehow.
Good luck and you are a great friend for making this a little more unique and special for her!
Reply:What about draping some tulle fabric along the dock and on the boat put some bows up. You could also consider having some silk rosse petals scattered on the boat floor. If it is at night, see if you can find some candles that you an put in hurricane globes so they don%26#039;t blow out. What about floating candles in the water?
Reply:2 days notice! how nice. well it%26#039;s eloping theres usually nothing special about eloping. It means you want to avoid all the stress of a nice wedding so she can just go on the boat with her man and the person performing the ceremony. Gte 2 bouquets of flowers and call it a day.
Reply:I really like when there is a sheer fabric with small white Christmas type lights behind it. Therefore at dusk you%26#039;ll see the color and it will give off some light it just adds to the atmosphere with a settle touch
Reply:Some people mentioned michaels, I work at one. I suggest a pre lit arch, you can get ivy garlands and ribbons to decorate it. the arch is 20 I think and you can get a coupon (by asking for one at the register or in the flyer) i%26#039;d say you can do it for under 50 bucks. good luck!
Reply:Since your best friend gave you a whopping 2 days notice, I wouldn%26#039;t worry about it.
Reply:Use silk flowers!!! Any fresh flowers will wilt in this horrid heat. To save on costs, use a lot of greenery (ivy, ferns) with ribbons to give the illusion of fullness.
Kudos to you for helping out on such short notice!!computer
